What's the difference between EmberLearn and the FireStart Program?
EmberLearn is a self-paced monthly subscription that gives you Sparks to use with the Guides library — learn on your own schedule. The FireStart Program is a structured, cohort-based experience: live sessions with instructors twice a week, 1-on-1 coaching, and a full 4–6 week curriculum. They're complementary, not competing.

Is the free tier really free — what's the catch?
Yes, genuinely free. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden paywall after 7 days. You get access to the Guides library and 20 lifetime Ember AI Sparks. The only limit is Sparks — once you've used your 20, you can upgrade to an EmberLearn plan if you want more.

When does Cohort 4 start?

What are Sparks and how do they work?
Sparks are the currency powering the Ember AI assistant inside each Guide. Every time you ask Ember a question, it uses Sparks to generate a context-aware response. Free members get 20 lifetime Sparks. EmberLearn subscribers get 100–1,000 Sparks per month that reset on their billing date.

Can I upgrade from Foundations to Business Track mid-cohort?
Upgrade requests are handled by the FireStart team on a case-by-case basis during cohort enrollment. Once a cohort is underway, mid-cohort upgrades are not always available — so if you're considering the Business Track, we recommend starting with it from the beginning.

Do I need any prior AI experience to join?
Not at all. The Foundations track and the free Guides library are built for people brand new to AI. The Business track does move faster — but even most Business track members start with zero prior AI experience.
